Christmas Countdown

While Levi was down for his nap today...Bentley got bored! I got some great ideas from my FB friends for fun activities to do around the house. Bentley was really excited about doing a Christmas countdown chain.
Just because he's a boy doesn't mean he can't be crafty like his mom!! :)
We got the paper cut, and away he went gluing the heck out of my table...oh and the paper!
He had so much fun and wanted to use it as a jump rope at the end (he see's mom do that alot outside!)
It was easy, fun, and took up some time during our long day. It sure makes a big difference when you have a town around you to run out and about to fill your day, so I need all the ideas I can get, keep them coming!

Wowzers!!!

What a great month so far! Jed and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary, gosh did that go by fast... 2 kids and living in Wyoming that quick!
We had a great time staying at Little America Hotel of course :), having amazing dinner, breakfast and catching a good movie or two in our room. We spent the next day looking at cars. You may not all know but Jed and I are kind of car lovers! 2 things we absolutely love to do together is test drive beautiful cars, and look at houses. Love it!
We had a great time just being alone, without the kids. Thanks Natalie for watching them, you really are the BEST aunt in the world. I've been incredibly blessed to have the best husband and kiddos in the world, I sometimes feel so overwhelmed and undeserving of the things I have been given, I am so lucky.




All in the same day, I had some huge monumental moments as a mom, I couldn't believe it!!
This is what we've been up to.............

And he's been AMAZING!!! I couldn't have asked for an easier job, really! He has been so quick and alert to going potty in the toilet. He'd been talking about it the past
few weeks like crazy and always wanting to go on the potty throughout the day, so I knew I had to act fast while he was showing interest. Monday morning, I got the underwear, the snacks, the little potty (which he doesn't like, he only like the 'real' one) and we were set.
Goodbye diapers, hello Mcqueen & superhero under's.
Its been a breeze so far, only 3 accidents, 2 because we couldn't make it in time, and the other because he was having to much fun playing with his friends, he forgot!
He stays dry all through the night and naps, I don't do pull ups or anything...he's been great!!!
I'm so proud of this dang cute guy!
The same day, we decided to go out and play while the sun was out, it was freezing, but there was no snow, so we acted on it.
Bentley has been learning how to ride a big boy bike, and all of a sudden just got it. He had a hard time with the brake and the go, his feet would fall off the pedals randomly and he'd get frustrated. Well...not today! He jumped right on that bike and started pedaling, we rode all the way around the corner to dad's work. It suddenly just 'clicked'! I didn't get pictures only long video, so I'll be sure to get some up so you can see how cute he looks! :)
I was sooo excited, this was 2 down!

Than.......



Levi decides to walk!! I could just hear him thinking "Don't think brother gets all the fire, I can do something great too, hmmm, I can walk!!" Just as we were playing, he walks from one toy to another, and I notice out of the corner of my eye, and start hootin' and hollerin' grabbed my phone and started recording...all the other recordings that were alot cuter and better than this were way too long, so I had to do this one. Which either way its way too cute because he's so sick of it, he's just furious! Finally he's walking, 13 months old. Bentley was 10 months when he started walking so it seemed late to me!

What a great day for me, seriously I can't even explain how happy I was all day, on cloud 9! 3 great things down in 1 day!
I felt for the first time in a long time that my daily groundhog day duties are starting to pay off.
Yay for Bentley and Levi!!!!

Halloween!

What a crazy weekend! My mom had a party at her house on friday night with a billion friends and I headed up that night because it was supposed to snow in Wyoming so I didn't want to get trapped there for the weekend if they closed the roads, so about 10pm the kids and I got in, I put them down and helped my mom monitor the party. My bff Holly came over with her sister to be with me and hang out, we were both mummies!! Best friends sure think alike!
Saturday we hung out at home and did random halloween activities and carved more pumpkins!
Jed arrived just in time for dinner and trick or treating...poor guy came up about 5:30 and we headed back home about 9:30! What a dad!
We didn't last very long trick or treating only making it to about 15 houses! My mom's neighborhood's homes are waaaay too far apart and alot of people werent home, so we were done quick!
We enjoyed delicious hot wassail made by me, and hung out with the fam for the rest of the night.
My darling boys sure looked darling in their costomes as Tarzan and a Dragon, its too bad you have to wrap them up to head out, and that it gets so dark so quick, maybe we'll try the mall next year!
Bentley's cousin Josh was the best helper in the world, waiting for Bent and each doorstep, helping him get the candy in his bag and making sure he stayed out of the street, they are the best of friends!!

Fall for 1 day!

I swear this year where I am at least fall lasted for about 24 hrs.! It came and went, and got cold fast. One day we're raking and playing in the leaves, and the very next day it snowed over 2 inches. I'm just glad we got out there to do play, it sure was fun, and the boys LOVED IT!

I had fun taking pictures of course, and Bentley was such a great helper destroying the piles I'd rake up by jumping in them or unraking them! Levi his laid back self, played around without a peep!!

We have been able to make such great friends here in Wyoming, in such a small place you have to rely and really stay close to eachother. Our days consist of the 3 of us families doing things together to make our days seem shorter, and easier. I've always hoped to be able to find friends in our lifetime that we'll be able to stay close with for years and years to come, and I think we just found them. :)

As hard and lonely as it gets sometimes, we have been lucky enough to have eachother for good company and a cup a sugar or 2 to lend!

The boys love it, all of us have boys and coincidently the same age, Bentley's made the best of friends with Boston and Jackson and can never stop asking to play with them!

Its so important to be a good neighbor and friend, the French's and Rigg's have been so good to us! I look forward to many more months!

We got together the other night for dinner and pumpkin carving while the boys ran wild, we had such a great time. The next day we made sugar cookies and decorated them, what fun we have!

I Heart NYC!!!

I went to New York last week with my Mom to visit my sister Tiffany who lives in Manhattan. She just moved back to NY after living in Boston for a year or so. We were so excited to know she was moving back because last time she lived there I never made it over to visit.
So this time I was sure to make the effort asap! I really wish Jed could have come with us, but work calls!
Let me just tell you that I seriously just had the time of my life!!! Never never could I live there, but oh is it fun to visit and sight see, and shop! It was sooo beautiful this time of year with all the leaves and things. We got lucky with the weather, the forecast called for rain the whole week, but we only had sprinkles randomly.
We toured all over the place and the only places I missed were the meat packing district, and the west village. Not enough time in the week!! Oh and going to a broadway (Wicked) and getting in Regis & Kelly Live, which was really my only main thing I wanted to do, and of course never made it! (I loooove Kelly Ripa!!!)
I'll be sure to get there first next time I go, which will be soon, and Jed WILL be coming.
Because of the amount of pictures I took, about 200 or so! I put them into collage by day showing all the fun things we did.
I can't wait to go back, spring is calling! Probably my favorite things of the trip were for sure China Town, the row boats at Central Park, and the egyptian wing at The Met.
I really do heart New York!!!

MY COMPUTER IS BEING REALLY STUPID AND SLOW LATELY, SO FOR SOME REASON THERE'S ISSUES WITH THE PICTURES BELOW...GRRRRRR!!!!!

On my Agenda

So to keep me busy this Winter, these are some things I have planned to do here in Wyoming. Things I've homemade before that I want to do again or some new activities to see if I can accomplish!

Make some homemade bread! Freeze it and gift it!

Homemade Jam. I always home make my jam, but I've only ever done strawberry...it's time to branch out and do other kinds! Another Freeze it, and gift it!

mmmmmm....Homemade Salsa, done this one a couple times, but haven't LOVED the recipes, anyone have some good ones?? This time I'll actually seal the caps and all...well if I can learn how!

Homemake breakfast & dinner burritos. These are the best things to keep in your freezer! If you're on the go but have to grab something, if you don't feel like cooking, if a neighbor needs dinner, and so on! Their delicious and last a long time when you make one big batch at a time!

Homemade Playdough, something sooo fun for the boys!!! Growing up, homemade playdough is all my mom ever did, its easy and super fun for the kids to help do, I'm excited for this one, especially on a snowed in day!

Last but not least....I'm gonna start looking for a bunk bed to refinish off KSL, or if anyone has one they want to get rid of :). I just put the boys in the same room so they can have a playroom and I want change them over to a bunkbed when Levi is old enough. But I would love to start working on it now! Sooooo...If anyone knows someone getting rid of a bunkbed, tell me!!



Anyone else have some special activities planned??? Please tell me, I'd love to have more on my list, I might go a little stir crazy out here!!

uuuuhhhh a boy...?" mom nod yes "Mommy is a uuuhhhh princess..?!"
Mom: laughing! "mommy is a girl, but yes a princess too!!!" I wonder where he gets that!!



All day everyday calling for me,
Bentley: "Abrina.....Abrina.....Abrina....."
I'm no longer 'Mom' to him when he calls out for me! Just plain old Sabrina!

My Mom is doing a Watch Out Party at her house tonight in Draper (by the temple) and we would love to see all of you there, this is the perfect time to start stocking up on Christmas Gifts after all!!!
And heck, I'd like to see you, I'm a little lonely out in Wyoming ok?!!!

Mickey Mouse Birthday House!!

Levi's Birthday Party was a success!!! Lot's of Food, lot's of presents, lots of balloons, lots of cake, lots of people, lots of love!!!!!! That was alot!

What a fun night it was, and thank you so much Mom for letting us fill your home!

Thanks to our WHOLE family who came to support, love and have fun with Levi and us! Levi may not remember it, but we sure do and he sure knows he's loved. Here's an overview of the night...
Got the house filled with Mickey Mouse Decor, what's a party without the decorations...or a theme!!!

The marble filled Mickey Mouse cake was a hit, keeping Bentley away from digging his hands in it was a bit of a challenge!

Eating his dinner like a golden child! Lot's of yummy dinner, we had SO MUCH leftover!!

Levi's darling hat Nanna knitted for him. He got the greatest presents from all the family, thank you so much everyone.

Birthday boy and dad!



We had a VERY special visitor! Oh boy was he a hit! The kids were in shock at first and some stayed that way, but boy did we have fun with MICKEY MOUSE!!!

Levi LOVED him, I was a little worried he or Bentley would be afraid of him, but nope not at all, Levi was trying to bite his nose and fingers off, and COULD NOT get his eyes off him!! He was in awe!



We coldn't get Levi to look anywhere else, especially not the camera!



We sang songs and danced! Thank you Mickey Mouse for being the main event, we all loved every minute of it!

What a night, we had to drive home right after the party at 9pm because Jed worked at 6am the next morning so the kids zonked out after an eventful day. 3 long hours later after driving in a blizzard and having to climb through a window in our home because I left the keys at my Mom's we were exhausted!!!

And woke up to this, a good 3 inches of snow!!

Utahn's like to say: "Only in Utah", but really "Only in Wyoming"

We get winter a good month earlier. Uggghhhh....

Happy Birthday Levi!

Our sweet little tanker Levi is 1 today!!

I can't believe how time flies, I keep saying I swear I just had you yesterday!

I love on birthdays how you think of exactly what you were doing the same time just a year earlier, and for the 1st birthday its especially fun...Well most of the time, minus the labor, or difficulties!

I'm so overwhelmingly happy when I remember his birth, how quick and easy it was, and the fact that if I wouldn't have HAD to have him c-section how easy the natural labor had felt so far, and how it could have been. Dilating to almost a 9 on my own, and just layin' in the bed wasn't so bad.

I think that Levi was born to be easy!

He has been an incredible boy since the beginning...really the very beginning, labor and all. Compared to Bentley, I'd take a Levi any day!!!

Although I always say 2 is so much harder than 1, its soooo much better to have 2 than 1!

Bentley and Levi are only 17 months apart and at times I wish I could just die bathing 2 at once, or changing literally 4 diapers within the hour,

oh and don't forget the 2 in a one seater grocery cart, never getting a break,

ah I could go on!

But...I loooove that they are so close in age,

they have so much fun playing together, they aren't happy without each other.

I get to hear 2 sweet giggles at the same time,

2 giving me 100% love and attention,

and double the Love's and cuddles throughout the whole day!

Jed and I are lucky to have Little Tank in our lives, Happy Birthday Levi.

Dear Levi,

Already 1 year has passed like a glimpse, and I can't believe how much you've grown, and I mean grown! You are so yummy to love on all your chubs, you are one solid boy!

I Love you because:

You are so content. You never demand the spotlight or scream outta control to get your way. You are laid back and calm almost all of the time. Even when brother pushes you or takes your toy away.

You are the sweetest and most charming 1 year old I've ever seen! Your head of curls, and ear to ear smile melts me through and through. Your olive skinned baby face is too cute to boot!

Your kisses are spontaneous and slobbery, I love 'em!

I love the way you crawl around sooo fast to keep up with brother. For you, walking is unnecessary and takes too long, you like to use one leg to keep up on your foot and push off super fast...it works!

I love what a good eater you are. I can put anything on your tray and you gobble it down as fast as you can, than growl and growl for more, I sure hope you stay that way!

I love what a good sleeper you are, very rarely do daddy or I have to get up through the night with you. We all love our sleep!

I love to see you play and discover new things, I can see that brain turning fast! You could play for hours without whining once. You're like a wanderer, just wanting to hang out, play around and mind your own business.

I love how much you love brother, you look up to him in every way, you are sad when he's asleep or gone and never laugh as much! Even when brother can be a stinker sometimes, you growl it off and continue on doing something else. I hope you boys always stay close and loving to each other.

I love what a good boy you are when I take you places, all you need is your bottle and you are happy! You never scream and cry to embarrass me, and you are easy to keep entertained even with just my lip gloss tube.

You are very patient with mommy. Even though I can drive you crazy sometimes, you are understanding and still love me. Even though sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out because I'm tired or busy with something, you cry just a little, but stay very patient. That's a good trait to have, especially when it comes to girls!!

I love you Levi because you are mine, because I made you, and you are perfect.

I can't wait to see you grow over the years, and that I will get to see every second of it.

Nothing makes me happier than being a Mother.

I always dreamt of being a mom, that's all I ever wanted to be when I was growing up. I just hope I do a good job, its quite a stressful job!

I love you with every piece of my heart, I love you as far as my arms can reach.

Family Picture Preview...and Braces!

I hadn't realized I didn't post this until my sis in law asked me about seeing them.

I am such a facebooker these days, having the iphone makes it so convenient.

I forget to keep updating my blog, facebook is much much easier!

We FINALLY got our family pictures done a couple weeks ago, it only took a whole year to do it!!

They turned out great as far as I've seen, I'm picking up the cd tonight and am sooo excited to see the rest! Dana did a wonderful job, despite the fact that my boys were NIGHTMARES! Jed and I were about to die of embarrassement!

They flipped out crying and whining the WHOLE time. The second we started till we drove off! And thankfully Dana, you were smart in bringing some fruit snacks to hold em off each picture you snapped, so you may all notice them chewing throughout the pictures...hey you do what you gotta do with 2 children under 2!

I loved the location we went to downtown, eclectic, raw, old, vintagey...beautiful! I can definately wait for the next time we do this, its alot for a mother to prepare for.

Oh ya, many of you have been asking to see a picture of me with my braces. yuck!! Yes...I got braces. Nothing to fun about about it, except that I will soon be out of jaw pain, and I'll have a whole new beautiful wide, white smile again! The 10 mths will be worth it, except everytime the wire is tightened, the expander is turned, and the bands are put in! I just keep reminding myself, if I can have babies, I can do this!
Besides the fact that I look like I'm crying in this pic, the sun was major blinding me! Jed and I had a great evening in Park City for a date night much needed and enjoyed. I can't stay away from the Alpine Coaster...soooo fun!!!

The Park

The Park is a home away from home for us, any park. It truly is a child's playground! The boys love playing and its nice for me to just sit and relax. I'm going to miss you soooooo much Summer, you have no idea!

Aren't these the coolest saucer swings? We sure like'd em' Levi fell asleep laying on it! He loved it too!

Ahh, he's soooo yummy and darling!!!


So Levi growls...growls like a baby cub, really!! That's all he does all day, when he's mad he'll growl, when he's playing he growls, when he watches Bentley playing he growls, when he eats, he growls! Its too funny, I got him for a second on camera but it makes me so mad, I swear every time I grab to record he stops! You'll get the idea, but gosh its soooo cute...He's boy through and through!

Monkey and Football

This cute video is Levi singing Monkey's on the Bed. Of course when you finally think to grab the camera and film it, they turn grumpy! This was the best I could get on record, but its still so cute!

And this video is of Bentley playing single player football!!! Dad's not home to play, Levi's not big enough, and Mom had to record! He's so funny though, I hope you get a good giggle out of this ball of energy! Oh, and please don't mind my messy toy house...end of the day disaster!
